Who we are
The GetMyBot service (getmybot.dev) is operated by Daniil Nuzhdin, registered in Russia as self-employed (TIN 772874285082). For any privacy question, write to daniil@gelfand.dev.
GetMyBot lets you build and run chatbots for Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and VK. This policy covers the website, the web app and the GetMyBot mobile apps.
Data you give us
When you create an account we store your email address, your name if you provide one, and a hash of your password. We never store your password itself.
When you connect a bot we store the access token for that bot, encrypted at rest, because the service needs it to receive and send messages on your behalf.
When you pay for a plan, the payment is handled by our payment providers. We receive the transaction status and amount. We never see or store your card details.
Data your bots generate
To run your bots, the service stores the messages they exchange with their subscribers, along with the subscriber profile data the messaging platform supplies: identifier, username, display name, avatar and language.
This content belongs to you. We process it only to operate the service for you and to show it to you in the operator inbox. We do not sell it, and GetMyBot does not use it to train its own models.
Data collected automatically
The apps and the website collect technical and usage data so we can keep the service working and understand which features people use.
- Usage data: which screens you open and which actions you take, through Firebase Analytics.
- Diagnostics: crash reports, stack traces and performance data, through Firebase Crashlytics.
- Account identifier: your GetMyBot user ID is attached to analytics and crash reports so we can trace a problem back to a specific account when you ask us for support.
- Device and connection data: device model, operating system version, app version, IP address and request logs.
- Website analytics: page views through Matomo and Yandex Metrica.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, the app registers a device token with Firebase Cloud Messaging and sends it to our servers so we can deliver alerts about your bots. Turn notifications off in the system settings and we stop sending them; log out and the token is removed.
Who else processes your data
We use a small number of processors, each for a specific job:
- Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging): analytics, crash reporting and push delivery.
- Telegram, Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger) and VK: message delivery for the channels you connect.
- OpenAI, Anthropic and DeepSeek: if you or your account administrator enable Managed AI, the selected provider receives the message content needed to generate a response. We do not send bot content to these providers while Managed AI is disabled.
- Payment providers: processing payments for paid plans.
- Contabo GmbH, our hosting provider in Germany, where the service and its database run.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account exists. Bot content and subscriber data are kept while the corresponding bot is connected. Analytics and crash data are kept for up to 14 months. Server request logs are kept for up to 90 days.
Delete your account and we remove your personal data and your bots' content, except where we must keep records of payments for accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw consent for analytics. Write to daniil@gelfand.dev and we will answer within 30 days.
Security
All traffic between the apps and our servers goes over TLS. Bot tokens and integration credentials are encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited to the operator of the service.
Children
GetMyBot is a tool for businesses and developers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes are announced in the app or by email.
