Install on Tilda

Paste the widget snippet into Tilda's head code and verify it went live.

On this page

This page covers only where to paste the snippet on Tilda and how to confirm it works. For everything else, see Site widget.

Where to paste the snippet

Open your project, then Settings → Site settings (the gear icon) and find Head HTML code. Tilda's exact menu wording can differ between accounts and plan tiers — if you don't see this exact name, look for the section that lets you add code for <head>. Paste the complete snippet from Widget → Install, unchanged, and save.

Verify the installation

Publish the page (see the pitfall below), then open Widget → Install in the studio and run Check installation against the published page. Only a runtime-ready result confirms the widget actually mounted — see Automatic diagnostics for what static vs runtime evidence means.

Common pitfalls

  • Publish the page. Tilda keeps head code changes in the draft until you publish; a draft never serves the code to real visitors.
  • Paste the snippet once, in the project's or page's head code field — not in a text block on the page itself, which strips <script> tags.
  • If the site spans several Tilda projects mapped to different paths, add the snippet to every project that should show the widget.
