Quick Start
Connect your first bot, get familiar with the interface, and build your first reaction.

GetMyBot is a no-code Telegram bot builder. Connect a bot with a token from @BotFather, then define its behavior through reactions: rules of the form "trigger → conditions → actions." This guide covers the account setup and your first working reaction.
What is a reaction
A reaction is the core building block of a bot. It defines: when to fire (trigger), under what conditions (filters and chat scope), and what to do (one or more actions: send a message, apply a label, save data, call AI, and more). A bot is simply an ordered list of reactions; for each incoming event the platform finds the first matching reaction and applies it.
Step 1. Create a bot in @BotFather
- Open a chat with @BotFather in Telegram.
- Send the command
/newbotand follow the prompts: choose a display name and a unique@username(must end withbot). - BotFather will send you a token: a string like
123456:ABC-DEF.... Copy it; you will need it in the next step.
Step 2. Connect your bot to GetMyBot
On first login, an onboarding wizard opens with three steps (Connect a bot → Check profile → First reaction):
- Paste the token into the Paste bot token field. GetMyBot will validate it and display "Token is valid: found @username."
- Confirm that the bot's avatar, name, and
@usernamehave been pulled in correctly. - Click Create greeting: the wizard will immediately add a "Welcome new user" reaction so you have something to start with.
To connect another bot, open Projects, choose Add a project, then select Add channel on its row and choose Telegram. A project can have several channels. Project and bot limits depend on your plan. See Projects and channels for details.
Step 3. Build your first reaction
- Open Reactions and choose Create reaction.
- Set a name and choose a trigger: for example, the
/startcommand. - In the Actions block, add Send message and type the response text.
- Enable the Active toggle and click Save.
That's it: send /start to your bot in Telegram and verify the response. The Telegram preview panel on the right shows how your message will look with buttons and menus.
How the interface is organized
On desktop, sections are grouped in the left navigation. On a phone, the main destinations are in the bottom bar and the rest under More. Change the active project in the switcher at the top or on the Projects screen:
- Projects: connected channels, users, active reactions, and requests today.
- Automation: Reactions, templates, scenarios, content, AI agents, and the knowledge base.
- Messaging: Chats and people records, broadcasts, campaigns, email, and the widget.
- Analytics: reports, segments, experiments, funnels, and Statistics with the request log.
- Data: integrations, CRM, collections, sources, and keys.
- Finance: Billing, payments, and the partner program.
- Settings: project configuration, team, support, and documentation.
Pricing
GetMyBot is billed in requests: what is charged is the work reactions do: a delivered text message costs 1 request, media 2, a call to an external service 1, an AI call 5, and in-platform actions 0 (full table in Statistics). Your balance and usage are visible in Statistics, while your plan and remaining requests are in Billing. For plans and top-ups, see Payments and balance.
